On Saturday, February 20, 2010, the Corona Police FLEX team working with the department of Alcohol and Beverage Control (ABC) conducted a warrant sweep for suspects with outstanding drunk driving warrants. This sweep was done as part of the Corona Police Department?s Alcoholic Beverage Control Grant, which was awarded to the police department to reduce the number of alcohol related crimes within the city, and to educate business and the public. Early Saturday morning, Officers responded to approximately 30 residential locations, in an attempt to serve the warrants. During the sweep, 10 suspects were located and arrested for their warrants.
