The City of Corona has a primary and an alternate Emergency Operations Center (EOC). When activated, the EOC is staffed by representatives of various City departments, allied agencies and special representatives, as needed, for the particular incident or disaster being managed.
The purpose of an EOC is to enhance communications and maximize the utilization of personnel and resources during a major incident. Corona?s EOC is operated under the Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS) in accordance with the City of Corona Emergency Operations Plan.
