Steve Nolan was elected to his first term on the Corona City Council in November of 2004, was re-elected in 2008 and served as Mayor in 2009. Mr. Nolan is currently a member of the Council's Infrastructure Committee and the Homeless Shelter Funding Ad Hoc Committees.

Prior to being elected to the City Council, he served as Chairman of the City's Parks and Recreation Commission. He has been an active member of the community since moving to Corona with his wife and two children in 1991. He owns and operates a restaurant in town.

His community involvement has included being President of the Corona Youth Sports Foundation, Director of the Partners for Parks & Recreation Foundation, Corona Chamber of Commerce Board Member and active member of the Circle City Rotary. Mr. Nolan was a recipient of the Corona Chamber of Commerce "Citizen of the Year Award" in 2003 for the many civic and charitable contributions he has made to the community.
